Polyester and nylon air-mesh linings wick away sweat to keep feet comfortable on the run. A special EVA compound is used for the insole boards to supply excellent cushioning. Midsoles feature BioMoGo foam polymer alloy, which provides cushioning, energy return and reduced foot fatigue; nontoxic additive helps midsoles break down in landfill. DNA cushioning uses high-viscosity liquid to react instantly to each step for as you run, providing a custom amount of cushioning for your running style. Thermoplastic urethane arch shanks control torsional flex at midfoot for a stable gait cycle. Brooks Ghost GTX road-running shoes have outsoles with a blend of blown rubber and regular rubber for grippy traction. Outsoles also feature a special decoupled crash pad design that smooths out the landing zone throughout the heel strike.
